Everything you need to know about auto pet waterers
An automatic pet waterer is a device designed to provide a constant supply
of fresh, filtered water for pets. It uses gravity or a pump mechanism to refill the reservoir and
maintain water levels without manual refilling every day.
petwaterlab fountains include replaceable filters, adjustable flow
settings, quiet pumps, and BPA-free materials. These features ensure clean water circulation and
durable performance for dogs and cats.
Cleaning frequency depends on usage and water quality, but we recommend a
full wash and filter replacement every two weeks to prevent buildup of deposits and ensure healthy
water for your pet.
We offer replacement pumps, filters, reservoirs, tubing kits, and silicone
seals. All parts are specifically designed for petwaterlab models to ensure proper fit and reliable
operation.
Turn off and unplug your unit, remove the reservoir, discard the old
cartridge, rinse the reservoir with warm water, insert the new filter, and reassemble the waterer.
Plug it back in to resume normal operation.
Most petwaterlab models are designed for mains power. However, we do offer
an optional battery backup kit that supports short power interruptions for up to 12 hours.
petwaterlab pumps are engineered for quiet operation, producing a gentle
hum that is unlikely to disturb you or your pet. Routine cleaning helps maintain low noise levels
over time.
While the core unit is splash-resistant, exposure to direct sunlight and
freezing temperatures may affect performance. We recommend placing it in a shaded, sheltered area
when used outdoors.
Low flow may be caused by a clogged filter, debris in the pump, or low
voltage. Inspect and clean the filter and pump, then ensure the power adapter is properly connected.
All petwaterlab units are made from food-grade, BPA-free plastic and
stainless-steel pumps. Components meet Swiss safety standards and are free from harmful additives.
